MECL Vacancy: Reservation for Ex-Servicemen

MECL has released 113 vacancies for different W-3 and W-4 level posts (Technicians, Assistants, Drivers, Stenographers, etc.).

Eligibility Criteria for Ex-servicemen
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years for all posts.
Age Relaxation for Ex-servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines – up to 3 years plus length of military ervice rendered.

Educational Qualification:

Varies post-wise. Example:

• Technician Posts – ITI after Matriculation
• Assistant Accounts/Materials – B.Com / Graduate with Typing
• Driver – Matric + Valid License + 3 Years Driving Experience
• Steno – Graduation + 80 wpm shorthand

Selection Process

MECL का selection process नीचे दिए गए चरणों में होता है:

1. Written Test (100% weightage)
   Cut-off: UR/OBC/EWS – 50%, SC/ST – 45%, PwD – as per norms
2. Document Verification (1:7 ratio)
3. Skill/Trade Test (Qualifying only)
4. Final Merit List based only on Written Test marks
    

MECL Salary Overview

All Non-Executive posts fall under IDA Scale Rs. 19,600 – 55,900, depending on post and grade (W-3 to W-7).
