RRC ECR Apprentice Vacancy 2025: Reservation for Ex-servicemen

Total Vacancies: 1149
Reservation for Ex-servicemen: As per Railway Board norms (within respective categories).

Eligibility Criteria for Ex-servicemen

Age Limit (as on 25-10-2025):

Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24 years

Age Relaxation for Ex-servicemen:

Ex-servicemen candidates receive relaxation in upper age limit equivalent to length of service in Armed Forces + 3 years, subject to maximum age rules.

Example Calculation:
यदि आपकी उम्र 39 वर्ष है और आपने 15 वर्ष सर्विस की है:

Age = Current Age – Service Years – 3 Years Age = 39 – 15 – 3 = 21

यानिकि आपकी effective age 21 साल मानी जाएगी और आप eligible होंगे।

Education Qualification 2025

10th Pass (with 50% marks)
ITI Certificate in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized).
